INTRODUCTION:
Three or quite a while back today, an illness called Covid grabbed hold of the entire world, because of which the entire world was secured on the double. Today, a virus belonging to a family of smallpox that is spreading very rapidly is called the monkeypox virus. It is a viral disease small pox or chicken pox. Monkeypox is a cause of panic almost all over the world. In fact, the fear that is felt is not because of MonkeyPox, but because of his family. Because the disease called monkeypox is spreading rapidly all over the world because of the virus that causes it, the name of the virus is monkey 'pox virus'. And it belongs to OrthoPox. Also, the family it belongs to is called "pox heredity ". Smallpox also belonged to the same family as the monkeypox virus. The disease called smallpox caused by the smallpox virus has affected the lives of millions of people in the world for 3 thousand years. After that, through the process of vaccination, humans were able to get rid of this problem in 1980, which we call "eradication ". Also called rabies, transmitted from animals to humans. The disease was named monkeypox because it was first identified in monkeys in 1958, hence the name monkeypox. is spreading rapidly.
The first case of Monkey Pox:
Human Monkey Pox was first identified in humans in 1970 in the democratic public of Congo in the region where smallpox has been eliminated in 1968.
Since most cases have been reported from rural rainforest regions of the Congo Basin, particularly in the democratic republic of the Congo. Where being endemic is thought of.
Since 1970, this monkeypox virus has been found in 11 different countries in Africa. This was followed by a documented outbreak in Nigeria in 2017, forty years later.
Symptoms of Monkey Pox:
Every time this virus is transmitted from an animal to a human, it has a breeding time of one to two weeks, which we call the "Incubation period". After this "brooding period," side effects start to show up. These are as follows
1-First of all, the patient has a fever, which can happen to both children and adults. And along with the fever, chills are very common.
2-After this, the patient has pain in the legs, along with the pain in the legs, there are also back pains and the patient feels quite tired.
3-Along with this, the lymph nodes in our body begin to form lumps. Lymph nodes in the body begin to enlarge, which we call "lymphadenopathy".
4-After that, as soon as the fever starts coming down, a rash starts on the body. These red bumps form first start on the face and gradually spread over the whole body. After that, they appear on the palms of the hands and also on the soles of the feet.
5-These pimples first become red, then they get bigger, and then pus forms in them. And then they explode. And then after that, they finally make the escape.
How is monkeypox transmitted?
Because monkeypox is a viral disease. Hence, s sometimes it can also be inhaled. Apart from this, it can also be transmitted from animals, such as from pet dogs, etc. If the rash on the patient's body is formed, if the pus comes out of the rash and infects another person, then it would also be transmitted. Apart from this, animal to human transfer also takes place. If you are bitten or scratched by an infected animal, this virus can also be transmitted to you.
